Our team of experts can carry out a range of hedge trimming for you, from maintaining well established hedges, reducing hedge height to let more light into your garden or pruning and tidying small hedges and shrubs to keep them neat and under control. All brash is usually chipped and removed and we will carry out a thorough clean up with our leaf blowers and rakes to ensure the garden is left tidier than we found it.
For large hedges we may work from an elevated platform (cherry picker) or a system of ladders. All work will be carried out by fully qualified and experienced staff and work will be fully risk assessed to ensure the safety of the site and your property as well as our teams.
Hedges During Bird Nesting Season
When to Avoid Hedge Trimming
From 1st March to 31st August we are in official bird nesting season and it is important that we avoid any impact to nesting birds and infringement of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and breaching the European Habitats Directive 1992/Nesting Birds Directive. When hedge trimming is required during the nesting season, a pre works survey will be carried out to check for nests and we will have to postpone work if actively nesting birds are present.
If you need your hedges or shrubs trimmed we will arrange a site visit to review the work. We will then send you a quote and once you have accepted, we will book in one of our teams to carry out the work.
We can also remove hedges and fully grind out the stumps on domestic and commercial sites.
